I am new to the gym but am impressed with the approach Jeanette uses to engage me and assess my fitness. She is super friendly and supportive, but not intrusive. Her highly personalized approach has me looking forward to my workouts, not dreading them as I do most excercise!

If anyone is interested in getting back on track with exercise and their health, but like me finds every excuse never to exercise at home I highly recommend trying 5:17 Total Body Transformations. I have been going twice a week since October 2017 and I am loving it. My core strength is better than it was prior to having my daughter and I am so happy that I am finally getting toned up and fitting into pre-pregnancy clothes. I have always wanted to try out a CrossFit type of exercise, but was too intimidated so I am happy I found this place. I am lifting weights while supervised and it is nice to have an expert watching my form to make sure I am lifting correctly and not hurting myself in the long run. Prior to joining I had no clue what a deadlift was, but for those that do know what it is I am up to lifting 120 lbs! Which is shocking to me and I love how much stronger I feel.

When I first met Jennette, she was very encouraging about  my goals of becoming more fit - even at the of 61! She was positive that I could do it. I had 1 grandson at the time and was expecting two more grandchildren on the way and wanted to be at the top of my game and be a youthful, active granny. So I signed up! And I’m very glad I did. Sarah, my trainer, is encouraging, supportive, knowledgeable and on top of her game when it comes to watching to make sure I do all the exercises correctly and keep progressing. I love being in class with her and the other women I train with. I had just come back from being at my daughter’s house for the first time since I started training. Her house is on a hill and has a lot of steps leading up to the front door. I told Sarah how much easier it was for me to climb all those steps since I started working with her. So a BiG shout out to Jennette Holzworth and 5:17 Total Body Transformations. After just 6 weeks of training I’m down 2.5% body fat and I’ve gained muscle. (Can I 🙌 on this one?) I’m so close to hitting my BMI target I can taste it. I’ve also been able to get up to 80lbs deadlifts which is such a big deal for this tiny lady right here. I’m excited to soon be able to hopefully join the 100lb club. To give you further perspective I’ve been working out on my own since January about 3-4 days a week with almost no results I could see. In just 6 weeks I’ve been pushed and educated on better form and the importance of food/protein through this process. I’ve been held accountable and encouraged through the hard days. I’m so excited for the future and I can not wait to see even bigger results soon. Thanks Jennette for helping achieve “badass” status. At least that’s how I see it in my book.

I have been working with Jennette since May. In that time, I have gone from dead lifting 15 pounds to dead lifting 125 pounds. I’m even participating in Spartan races with confidence. I still can’t do all the obstacles,  but I can do a lot more than I used to! Working with Jennette has been a wonderful experience. She makes getting healthy fun!!!

Prior to working with Jennette, I was “allergic” to exercise. I knew I needed to do it, but I just couldn’t bring myself to get started. She's great at fostering friendships amongst clients and even let me bring my 2.5 year old with me when he experiences separation anxiety. I consider myself a pretty active person and used to run marathons. When I became a mom though, getting up and motivating myself to workout became harder and harder. Joining ICE has been a great way for me to stay in shape, get stronger, and have fun doing it. I love the ladies I work out with too. First of all, I don't like to exercise alone. I also don't like to exercise in public around strangers. I also -- don't really like to exercise.

Jennette really does what she says: she creates programs that busy moms CAN do, feel successful with, and actually see results for their efforts. She started with me exactly where I was, didn't expect much (thank goodness) and made sure I was laughing through most of my time with her - making the following soreness (because that's real life) actually make me think of her and ...I swear... SMILE.

Not only did she make the workouts tolerable (if even fun-ish), she got me eating the right foods at the right times and she made THAT easy, too. I like a program that sets up success from the jump-squat, and that is what you get with 5:17 Total Body Transformations.

I have a three day per week in half hour sessions regimen with JENNETTE and I always leave my workouts feeling energized and exhausted. She gently urges me to push beyond my limits and I have seen steady improvement. She makes me feel like she's my own personal trainer. And she tries to change up the workout so we don't get bored. She does that in very creative ways where some work better than others. I highly recommend ICE to anyone who may hate exercise like I do, or not, and who wants to stay highly motivated.
