Back-To-School Rules (For The Moms)

 

 

Hey moms! It's almost here. Dreading it or eagerly awaiting it? It's back-to-school time. 

 

It's always fun to get the kids ready for another successful year in school. Not to mention, they're getting older by the second and there's no one is getting in the way of you taking 3 or 4 (or 100) pictures of their backpacks, outfits, and classrooms. In a way, it's a celebration. A celebration of public education. A celebration of growing up. A celebration of being a mom. 

 

With that said, there's still A LOT to think about in the month of August. If juggling orientation and shopping isn't enough, you're also dealing with a huge change in your schedule. Here at 5:17, we encourage our mom superheroes to do two things: 1) find calm before, during, AND after the storm 2) remember that it doesn't have to be a bad storm. 

 

For the month of August, we're centering our tips and workout inspirations on back-to-school motivation. In a strong effort to alleviate some of the tensions and negative vibes in this hectic month, we're challenging you to follow these two simple rules. Don't worry, though — we're here with you every step of the way. We'll give you the tips you need to stay calm (yes, we strongly encourage exercise and healthy eating to keep sane). Then we'll supply the positivity you need to stick it out and stay optimistic.
