Roasted Chicken

This recipe is for a roasted chicken that can be served as either a single family meal or used as parts in other recipes. {Search #51thingstodowithchicken on Instagram for great ideas!}

This recipe is great for weight loss when eaten inside or outside the Metabolic Window.


1 whole chicken (skinless)

1/2 cup water

Seasonings: Italian, onion pepper, garlic powder

Crock Pot Directions:

Place chicken in Crock Pot.

Add water, then seasonings to taste.

Cook on high 4 hours or low 6 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Oven Directions

Place chicken in roasting pan and cover with aluminum foil.

Add water to pan, then season to taste.

Cook at 450 for one hour then at 350 for two hours, or until internal temperature reaches 165.
