Getting Where You WANT To Go

Have you considered that your goal is actually deterring you from success?

Today, I want you to ask yourself if it’s really what you want – more than anything. If not, give yourself permission to abandon your weight loss goal. Or hitting a 9 minute-mile. Fitting into the dress. Whatever it may be.

The reality is that taking on a goal requires you to actually commit to it and achieve it. To do anything else damages your confidence, your success, your desire to greatness. It sets you up for future failure. The best way to reach your goals might be to stop.

What would this week look like if your choices weren’t made out of punishment, guilt or shame? How would it feel to know that you’re working toward something that you really want to achieve?

There’s no right or wrong goal – only the right or wrong goal for you, right now. Don’t work toward something because you think you “shou!d.”

One day, you may decide that’s what you really want.

Today, I encourage you to simplify. Make a goal you can commit to and achieve. This doesn’t mean be complacent and stop working towards anything. It means being honest and realistic, choosing to do things that will improve your life.

If you’d like to discuss how that might look for you, I’d love to chat!
