Do you think you can?

Hey everyone,

One of the things that’s held me back the most in my life is not believing I’m capable of achieving the things I desire.

I struggle with insecurity and self doubt, and often it’s this second guessing of myself that holds me back from doing the things that would bring success. I can self-sabotage with the best of them.

Henry Ford famously said, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you are probably right.”

This applies to virtually everything in our lives.

Certainly, no amount of believing alone will make something a reality, since we must actually do the work and put in the effort to realize what we desire. However, the way we think about ourselves and our goals predicts how we will approach them.

The things we say to ourselves bring about emotional states which in turn determines our behavior.

What would life look like if we affirmed ourselves, speaking confidently and encouragingly instead of bombarding with negative self-talk? The outcome is tremendous.

I can say from experience that this simple shift is the root of all transformation. It’s been true in my life, as well as the most successful people I know.

Let’s think of it in terms of a giant shift. Just one degree of change in course, with a long enough trajectory, puts you at one continent over another.
