Recipe of the Week: Protein Packed Granola

Enjoy this protein packed granola however you want! Sprinkle over yogurt, use it as cereal, or snack on a couple of handfuls of it by itself throughout the day.

Recipe courtesy of:


  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds raw
  • 1/2 cup flax seed meal
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup olive oil or coconut oil


  • Preheat oven to 325
  • Mix together oats, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, flax, protein powder, cinnamon and salt. 
  • Drizzle in honey and olive oil.
  • stir well to evenly coat mixture.
  • Spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  • bake until golden, about 30 minutes.
  • Let cool completely before serving.

One Serving Equals: 199 calories, 13g fat, 86mg sodium, 16g carbohydrates, 3g fiber, 6g sugar, and 5g protein.
